USB Ecostrip surge protector

I Want one! This is genius!

USB Ecostrip surge protector

There is a new surge protector coming to town known as the USB Ecostrip, and this bad boy will drop by America and Europe along the way. The USB Ecostrip comes with a USB connector that hooks up to your computer – hence when you turn your computer off, the entire power strip will also turn itself off, helping you save power in the process. This helps the forgetful types to power down other devices that shares the same power strip each time the PC is shut down. Pricing details have yet to be determined, but this is a great invention for those who want to go green at home and at the office.

Atlanta’s Water Supply Near Historic Low

Even Tropical Storms Can’t Completely Dispel Drought Conditions

Metro Atlanta’s two primary drinking water reservoirs could reach historic low levels soon, as the drought plaguing the Southeast continues to cause problems.

Tropical storms drenched parts of the region, bringing relief to parts of the southernmost portions of the drought-affected region, but at the same time the northern extent of drought grew, according to the U.S. Drought Monitor report this morning.
